Sildenafil, tadalafil, and vardenafil work through the same mechanism but differ in onset, duration, food interaction, and drug interactions, so your provider selects among them based on your other prescriptions and your history rather than by default. Where the evaluation points to low testosterone, that is addressed as its own condition rather than masked. Where it points to cardiovascular or metabolic risk, that finding does not get set aside.
